CORRECTION UPDATE: The Melamine Conspiracy

Ever since the pet food scare in the summer of 2007 that caused thousands of American pets to die or become ill, I’ve been keeping a close eye on this situation.  With the Associated Press report last Wednesday, through a Freedom of Information Act, lobbed against the FDA, it was finally revealed that 90% of the country’s infant formula was contaminated with trace amounts of this deadly substance.

I might add that I have a four-month old grandson at risk since my daughter is feeding him Abbot’s Similac Advanced formula.  Abbot has provided a toll-free number regarding the melamine scare, however, their information is totally false and misleading.  A representative for Abbot did report in the AP article that their labs did find the chemical, yet, their toll-free information indicates that no melamine has been found in any of their products.  The number is 1-800-515-7677.Per the Associated Press, “And while the FDA said tests of 18 samples of formula made by Abbott Laboratories, including its Similac brand, did not detect melamine, spokesman Colin McBean said some company tests did find the chemical. He did not identify the specific product or the number of positive tests.

McBean did say the detections were at levels far below the health limits set by all countries in the world, including Taiwan, where the limit is 0.05 parts per million.

“We’re talking about trace amounts right here, and you know there’s a lot of scientific bodies out there that say low levels of melamine are always present in certain types of foods,” said McBean.”  http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,457710,00.html

But according to FDA in a previous statement no amount of melamine was considered safe, yet, now they are saying a minute amount is not harmful.  This is unbelievable!  Some are now referring to the huge government conglomerate as the “Food and DEATH Administration.”  Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, interviewed yesterday on the Alex Jones show states that the FDA is responsible for more deaths than all the world wars in the last century.

According to Dr. Patricia Doyle, “The FDA first said that Melamine levels, any levels were unacceptable. Now, because we found it in US baby formula and because the US is so indebted to China, the FDA says the levels in the formula ARE acceptable and there is no danger, don’t worry, be happy…the formula is safe. How can ANY level of a plastics ingredient be safe?  It can’t.  This is as ludicrous as California’s setting of ’safe’ levels of pesticides and herbicides for children in the state’s fruits and vegetables.”

Furthermore, Dr. Doyle believes that a rare type of kidney cancer may be associated with melamine in our food supply.

4.What happens when Melamine is digested?

Melamine remains inside the kidney. It forms into stones blocking the tubes.
Pain will be eminent and person cannot urinate. Kidney will then swell.

Although surgery can remove the stones, but it will cause irreversible kidney damage.
It can lead to loss of kidney function and will require kidney dialysis or lead to death
because of uremia.

What is dialysis? In fact, it should be called ‘blood washing’; it is filtering all of the body’s blood into
the machine and then go back to the body.

The whole process takes 4 hours and it is necessary to dialysis once for every 3 days for the rest of your life.

Why is it more serious in babies? Because the kidney is very small and they drink a lot of milk powder.
China currently has 13,000 infants hospitalized

It does not matter how much a human being took Melamine. The important point is
‘It cannot be EATEN!’

Foods that contain dairy products should be avoided.
Foods with creamer or milk should be avoided.

This is our human right to know, but the government and related departments never educate the public, therefore we have to RESCUE ourselves.

Nowadays, Chinese businessmen know that consumers do not prefer products ‘made in china’, so they don’t show from which country it is made.

However, you may now refer to the barcode, remember if the first 3 digits is 690-695 then it is Made in China.
