Okay, I admit it I love Nine Inch Nails. Trent Reznor can be a bit radical at times for my taste but they have made some great industrial rock music. Today, I came across the remastered version of the above named song, and discovered that ”Head Like a Hole” generated controversy after the September 11, 2001 attacks, when Clear Channel Communications placed it in a 2001 list of post-9/11 inapproiate song titles not for radio airplay. Well, I find that odd since what I derive from this song is a message that the International Jewish Bankers don’t want you to even ponder much less give any thought to.
In addition, Nine Inch Nails’ 2007 major studio recording, Year Zero, was released alongside an accompanying alternate reality game. With its lyrics written from the perspective of multiple fictitious characters, Reznor described Year Zero as a concept album criticizing the United States government‘s current policies and how they will affect the world 15 years in the future.
