ANOTHER MUSIC BREAK: Agnes Obel – Fuel to Fire

Watching Ravenswood this morning on my PC I heard this song and it was so hauntingly beautiful I had to find out who the artist was and then do a little investigating.  I can’t determine if she’s of jewish decent.  She is a Denmark native now living in Berlin.

This song in particular describes my present mood completely.  I’m sad and really depressed this week.  Maybe it’s the chemtrails, or the fact that I cannot eat because of my dental problems.  I’ve already lost nearly ten pounds without trying.  I feel like I’m wasting away.  But I’m still determined to go on for as long as I am able.

Right now I want to share this song, which I think is hauntingly beautiful.

More later this evening after family business.

Fuel to Fire – Agnes Obel

Lyrics:

Do you want me on your mind?
Or do you want me to go home?
It might be yours
Is as sure as I can say
But can’t be far away

Oooooh
Oooooh

Roses on parade
They follow you around
Upon your shore
Is as sure as I can say
But can’t be far away

Oooooh
Oooooh

Like fuel to fire

To the town we’ll go
And to your hideaway
Where the towers grow
Gone to be far away
Sit quietly
Alone.

Eyes want to cry
And do
They undo?
Upon your shore
Then as sure as I can say
But can’t be far away

Oh, what a day
To choose
Torn by our world
All that is safe
To you
Is like fuel to the fire

To the town we’ll go
And to your hideaway
Where the towers grow
Gone to be far away
Never do we know
Never do they give away
Where the towers grow
Only you will lead us there

Sit quietly
Alone
Sit quietly
Alone.
