MUSIC BREAK: The Cult – Yes Man

You know about all those “yes men” in the government.  The Cult nails it every time.

Enjoy,

WW~

Lyrics:

Far away eyes
Take her soul and black thing surge
Camera high and a camera whore
Rifle throssitude that ain’t hell
Manic stare and the face of a nation
Manic face of ejected angel
Golden boy once king now fallen
Kick like dogs that by their false mono
He’s a yes man pushed into it all
He’s a yes man twisted pushed around
He’s a yes man and he’s never on his own
He’s a yes man told what to do and say
Baby tell your lies
I can’t hear your lies
I can’t hear your lies
I can’t see through your lies
No tear demanded here
Deep set eyes and far away soul
Once he had a body tried to forget it
Once he took it taste it tried to upset it
He’s a yes man pushed into it all you know
He’s a yes man no choice voice of his own
He’s a yes man he never knew what happened
He’s a yes man pushed into it all
I can see through your lies
I see through your eyes
I see through your lies
I see through your lies
I see through your lies
I see through your lies
I see through your lies
I see through your lies
I see through your lies
I see through your lies
I can see through your lies
I see through your lies
I see through your lies
I see through your lies
I see through your lies

  1. Great song…. Great lyrics…. The Cult were a band way ahead of the times….

BTW…. I know that you have been busy the last while…..If you want me to do more work in your absence at this site, let me know…

    • Thanks, NTS – I was going to email you about the current changes but have not had the op.

I began taking care of my grandsons this week – 5 days a week while the daughter works.

But according to DHS that’s not enough so I still have to look for another job in order to keep the little bit of food stamps that I have.

And I don’t care who knows it. I keep telling everyone things are really bad here but only a few people ever donate, some more than others and I give those people credit and they know who they are.

    • And yes, I agree, this band knew the world’s pulse and where things were going and they actually did attempt to warn the masses through their music.

      Even that didn’t help.
